Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Director's Cut Part 2
0Part 2. I liked this one a whole lot more than the first. The atmosphere was great the story and enemies were super creepy. Heck, the enemies were a lot more fun to fight as well. In the first Fatal Frame, enemies loved to hide away from you in the walls and then just crash into you, this game balances your encounters a lot better. Also in the first game since it all took place in one house over several nights you had to retread over previous a well trodden ground. In this game you are in a village and so you aren't finding yourself to often returning to places you have fully explored. Though sometimes those places do get some unique ghosts and new items if you do go back. Just like in the original I enjoyed upgrading my camera abilities and powers. I love light RPG mechanics in games and it always gives you something to work towards. It also force you to improve on combat and get better at timing and taking pictures at the right moments for the most points. Really cool. I never played the original so I'm not sure of all the changes in this version, but what I can say is that it's super fun and spooky.
