Fatal Pursuit: Biker Runs From Cops With Pregnant Girlfriend On Motorcycle
12,529On Sunday, June 1, 2025, at approximately 3:53 p.m., a JPD Officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a motorcycle near the intersection of Nettleton Circle and Wilmar, which had neglected to stop at a stop sign and did not have any tags displayed. The motorcycle operator again failed to stop and proceeded onto Gee Street, traveling through a red light at Gee and Nettleon, almost striking another vehicle, then headed east on Nettleton. The officer terminated the stop at this intersection.
Shortly after, Dispatch received calls regarding an accident at the intersection of Flint and Nettleton involving a motorcycle with two riders 28 year old Thomas J Haney & 20 year old willow Searcy and another vehicle. After reviewing the intersection footage, officers determined that the motorcycle operator failed to stop at the red light and proceeded through the intersection, striking a car on the driver's rear side. Both the operator and passenger were thrown from the bike and were pronounced deceased on the scene.
