This is the Quake4 Grand-Final from the WSVG 2006 (World Series of Video Games), an international professional electronic sports competition. The Grand-Final was played between gaming star Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel (USA) and the undefeated Quake4 champion Johan "Toxjq" Quick (SWE). The game was Quake4 point release v1.3 with q4max 0.77a (a competition mod for Q4).

Earlier in the tournament, In the second round of the winners bracket, Fatal1ty lost one BO3 (Best Of 3) match against Toxic. Because of this, he was thrown in the lower bracket, where he had to win every BO3 match, in order to secure a spot in the Grand-Final. He managed to do that but he will start with a disadvantage. To win this tournament, he will need to win two BO3 Sets, while Toxic (undefeated in the upperbracket) only needs to win one.

The prize-money was 20.000 US-$ for 1st place.

I decided to redo this Grand-Final because I managed to find the missing POV Demos from Fatal1ty, that I did not have for the last 3 maps. I also wanted to upload them in a higher resolution and 60 fps, with the option for commentators or only in-game sounds.
