Ferrari P80/C Track-Only by Michelotto - Action at Mugello Circuit, Twin-Turbo V8 Engine Sound!
136What to see is the Ferrari P80/C, the last and most exclusive track car built by Michelotto, in action at the Mugello circuit. It's a one-off commissioned by a customer/collector who wanted a vehicle inspired by the best Maranello's sports prototypes. And so it was, taking inspiration from the 330 P3/P4 and Dino 206 S of the '66, the engineers and designers created a true masterpiece starting from the chassis of the 488 GT3. Without no technical restrictions to respect, the aerodynamics has been very accurate in terms of fins and diffusers. Constructed entirely in carbon fibre and painted in "True Red" it adopts a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. In the GT3 version, with restrictions, it develops 600hp (448 kW) at 7,000 rpm and a torque of 700Nm at 6,000 rpm but from what we know the car has much more power. The final data has not been declared. Other technical characteristics see the presence of a braking system composed of ventilated carbon-ceramic discs on the four wheels and a 6-speed sequential gearbox.

Quella che vedere è la Ferrari P80/C in azione sul circuito del Mugello, si tratta dell'ultima e più esclusiva vettura da pista costruita da Michelotto. Si tratta di un'unico esemplare commisionato da un cliente/collezionista che ha voluto un'auto ispirata alle migliori sport prototipo della casa di Maranello. E così è stato, prendendo spunto dalle 330 P3/P4 e Dino 206 S del ’66 gli ingegneri e designer hanno realizzato un vero capolavoro partendo come base dal telaio della 488 GT3. Non avendo nessuna restrizione tecnica da rispettare, l'aerodinamica è stata molto curata a livello di appendici, alette e diffusori. Costruita interamente in fibra di carbonio e dipinta in "Rosso Vero" adotta un motore V8 twin-turbo da 3.9 litri. Nella versione GT3, con le restrizioni, sviluppa 600cv (448 kW) a 7.000 giri/min ed una coppia di 700Nm a 6.000 giri/min ma da quello che sappiamo l'auto ha molta più potenza. Il dato non è stato dichiarato. Altre caratteristiche tecniche vedono la presenza di un'impianto frenante composto da dischi carbo ceramici ventilati sulle quattro ruote ed un cambio sequenziale a 6 rapporti.
