19As the party rests in the Goblin village, each of them splits up to either learn more about the Goblins and the Archipelago, help them train to defend themselves, or even fall into a state of... drunken shenanigans in Ren's case.
However, a day of education and training led into a night of frivolity as the team made use of the tavern's kitchen to create a take on a recipe of Pumpkin Goblin Soup, which won over many of the patrons. Bell continued to avoid much and many of the Goblins, but eventually finds himself as lead performer in-between a pair of song-dueling Goblins. Eventually joined by Kayli and Evelyn, who particularly rocked the house with her talent as a Bard, they left a lasting impression on the villagers, cementing them as friends and allies and showing that there are still good people out in the world.
Ren got especially close to Rhyxie, Vhyx's sister, as the two ended up rocking the house in a far different way after a day of sparring and drinking. But as Ren was personally introducing Rhyxie to his brand new bone staff, the rest of the team were forced to sleep under the stars. Not all was well though, as Kaylie got a horrible feeling in the pit of her stomach that she was being watched again. But the night went without any trouble.
The team said their goodbyes as Chief Stiggs handed them robes to conceal their identities as well as an amulet that, if shown to Goblins, they would be given similar hospitality wherever they may be in need of it. After all, the Goblin village may not be the only Goblin settlement on the archipelago.
The team sets off to South Rochdale on their journey to Squall's End, stopping along the way to assist an obese man from devouring a strangely addicting fruit as well as dealing with some trickster Kobolds launching rotten fruit at Skylert's head. They made camp outside a cave near South Rochdale, one said to contain some treasure based on the map picked up from the man in black robes outside of Croix.
And that, my friends, is where our story continues...
