The final battles need a bit of planning because they are so different, but given enough Super Balls, none of them poses too great a threat in my opinion. Let us start with a look at equipments used:
Terra has a Minerva Bustier on, a Soul Saber which gets exchanged for the Excalibur often and maximizes EVA otherwise. Celes has perfect EVA + MEVA with Paladin's Shield, Lightbringer and a Safety Bit.
Minerva Bustier and Paladin's Shield are essential for Tier 2 Tiger's Flare Star. Soul Saber is used to dispatch Tier 1 Long Arm and Tier 2 Machine, which are vulnerable to instant death, elsewise Excalibur will give Terra some more EVA. The Safety Bit functions as a countermeasure for Tier 3 Rest's Doom spell. Given, it only protects Celes, but I wasn't counting on Terra to survive Tier 3, just get there and help kill Lady and Celes would be able to finish the remaining fights.

So, after equipment, let us get into discussion of the Tiers. For Tier 1, Mog is around as I needed 3 parties to get here. He dies quickly though, having no equip on. Terra may randomly die to anything, but is revived as long as Long Arm is not dispatched. Celes depletes Visage's HP a good bit while waiting. Care for why I chose a kill order for this battle: if Visage is alive last, it will use Quake upon death, taking Terra with him. I didn't want that to happen. Also, if Long Arm is up last, he will start a Shockwave and Attack Flurry. It is possible, even easy to finish with Terra around, but may take a while. I thought it was easiest to just deplete Visage while waiting for Long Arm to be gone, then start Super Ball Flurry. Visage will die second because of Celes pre-work. After that, just have Terra use the Super Balls until Short Arm dies and we have a more or less safe transition.

Tier 2 starts with Terra taking Soul Saber back on and killing Machine with it. I got lucky with a fast connect here. Using a Poison Rod straight away on Tiger is also very helpful, it is vulnerable to the poison status and will thus die after some time. I opted against wasting Super Balls at this point, the damage would split on three and one of them would die automatically anyway. Instead, I used Poison Rods on Power. He is not vulnerable to the poison status, but to the element, so he gets ok damage here. After Tiger dies from exhaustion, I start Super Balling again until Power is dead. His 10-Hit combo would kill Terra way to sure to have him die last. After it, however, I took Terra back up and continued Super Balling Magic away, who was not much of a threat by himself. As long as terra would throw the finishing Super Ball, both girls would get to face Tier 3. I just burned him with both girls anyway, chance Terra dies is seriously low.

Discussion of Tier 3 happens in the next part of the video series.
