As a reminder, FF9's counter of dragons killed is capped at 9999 and reaching that hidden cap is among the goals of the challenge. This episode is just a presentation and the actual playing sessions are contained in the sub-episodes of which the links are below (total playing time is around 20 hours and 6 minutes; note that each sub-episode contains timecodes for all dragons killed):
* Episode 88-1 (raising the dragons killed's count from 6743 to 6977):

Extra info/corrections/comments on this episode:
* The defensive/survival requirements consist of not activating Auto-Regen, because one of the monsters that can be encountered, namely Dracozombie, can inflict the Zombie status, which reverts the effect of Regen, and activating Antibody to be guarded against Worm Hydra's Venom Breath. I activated also Restore HP, so I will not have to heal manually with Tent from time to time, since Restore HP heals automatically with half the max HP if surviving after receiving damage while in critical HP.
* The offensive ordered requirements are the following:
- Ensuring that the characters will always kill the enemies in one hit of the Attack command (this requires in my case attacking with Zidane and Freya only, placing the two characters in the front row and activating their Accuracy+, equipping Freya with a powerful weapon and activating her Dragon Killer, and equipping Zidane with the Ultima Weapon or raising his Strength to at least 80 if equipped with the Orichalcon.
- A quickness optimization consisting of optimizing Speed (in my case 44 for Zidane and 34 for Freya considering the previous requirements) and activating Alert and Initiative (the two latter support abilities are effective against Serpions only), then prioritizing the usage of Orichalcon over Ultima Weapon (daggers have a slightly quicker animation than thief swords).
* The purpose of Quina's presence in the team is gaining more Gils from battles thanks to Millionaire (items maximization has not been achieved yet).
* Taking into account my conditions of playing (Zidane and Freya as the only attackers due to Steiner and Amarant being at level 1, not optimized Speed, and using the original hardware), it seems 80-85 is the average number of dragons that are killed per hour.
* I had to change location and CRT TV for this episode.
* From the sub-episodes 88-6 to 88-9, I played on one of my SCPH-9001 instead of the usual SCPH-101 (as a reminder, SCPH-101 consoles seem to have a clearer image than the other NTSC US PS1 consoles), using a black label Disc 4 instead of the usual brand new Greatest Hits one, in order to compare between the loading performance of the two settings (with the average number of dragons killed per hour). It turned out that the performances are similar, which probably indicates that there is no notable difference of loading performance between the last PS1 models in general, and that the disc drives I mounted in the consoles and my FF9 discs are in a good state.
* I spend a few million Gils in Daguerreo's armory at the end of this episode (there are still few items to purchase there to achieve the main Gils/items farming).
