Of the three statues, Goddess is EASILY the toughest, possessing not only Overcast, but several attacks that can easily wipe out the entire party. Southern Cross kills Bella and Lloyd, Reverie which kills one side, and Eviscerate which kills everyone at once. She also has Charm and Phantasm, as well as Quasar. And on top of that, she has Northern Cross just to be annoying. This girl means serious business and is very deadly. Lots of failed attempts here.

First thing that needs to happen is Force Field spam; we're looking for pearl (and hopefully lightning as well) to get nullified. Eviscerate is a pearl elemental attack that Goddess always uses on her second turn, so basically you auto lose here if Force Field doesn't nullify pearl by then. I got pearl nulled before turn 2 on this attempt, but unfortunately, water was nulled as well, meaning Lloyd can't use Aqua Bomb, but I wasn't about to reset here as I've already had enough resets on this boss as it is. Then, we try to debilitate her to fire and use Red Wolf rage with Leader while trying to stay alive via L4 Life 3 (which in this fight only affects three people).

We get the Excalibur for Red, which we'll need for a special optional boss later on.
