Welcome to the world of Final Fantasy XIV! In this world, there will be a lot of choices, namely when you first start out you'll be asked what race and class do you want to start out as. This is a question that I'm asked most, so I wanted to put together this starter guide and primer to the races and classes to help you get started and happy with your choice. In FFXIV you can change your class at any time and even your race with the use of a fantasia potion, so you don't need to worry too much about your looks to start, but it's always good to know there are other options then re-rolling a new character.
