To begin this year's event, go to Old Gridania (X: 10.2) (Y: 9.4) and talk to Jihli Aliapoh, the Miqo'te wearing the egg cap.

While the mount is cool, there aren't many items this time around, just the mount you get from the seasonal quest and the Eggstravagant Interior Wall you can buy from the Egg Advocate in Old Gridania at (X: 10.8) (Y:8.8). It costs gil and she sells nothing else.

The wallpaper is nice but at least for apartments in the Mist it will be partially covered up by the pillars so you won't see the little chocobos on it. So It's more for a Free Company estate or a large personal estate.

The mount just has "Borderless" as the music if you were curious. It's doesn't fit but it's still nice to get a mount for something simple like this. It is sort of odd how the broom had its proper seasonal music but there is no Pa-paya for the egg.

I do miss chasing that hilarious rolling egg from last Hatching-tide though. They really should have the merchant selling more old items like the egg hats for players who missed them.
