The WAR job in FFXIV is powerful, with a large HP pool, and the ability to output a lot of DPS and two powerful stances. Managing the beast gauge and releasing the beast within takes balance and practice to master. But the way to the top is rewarding and fun. As a tank, this job has the responsibility to hold the threat on the targets, to help dps them down as quickly as possible, to mitigate or heal incoming damage.

This is an introduction to the Warrior in FF14, and hopefully will give you the tools to get started, we'll have other more advanced guides on the job and rotations in other videos, and will link to them when the time comes.
