Sequence breaking the game. Still 1.0 version.

The trick here is to force load the game into a map that is not Lucis/Altissia/Insomnia. There are specific coordinates on the map that will lead you to a Niflheim trigger or placement. In my first attempt here, I've managed to get to the beginning cutscene of Ch 11, without completing Ch 9.

After reloading your Save, fly (preferably along the roads) to Ravatogh, head up to Owlyth haven (this should work with the Malmalam Thicket Haven too), sleep, continue to fly into the sky, out of the dungeon but such that the dungeon map remains, go into the southwest portion of the map, save when you see the Menace Dungeon (fancy symbol) minimap, reload and there you are, Niflheim.

Saving in water is annoying, because the floor level is iffy (i think it's angle dependant), but just keep fiddling around and eventually it should trigger. Once more coordinates of the map are found, it should be feasible to warp to other points of the enemy continent.
