Fighting Simulator:Championship (Unreleased NES Game)
9This game is a prototype, which was set for release sometime in 1992 and was to be an english version of "Hiryu no Ken Special:Fighting Wars", which is part of Culture Brain's "Hiryu no Ken" franchise, which has also given us games like Flying Dragon: The Secret Scroll and Flying Warriors. All of the Flying Warriors characters with the exception of Mary (Minmin in Japanese) are here, along with 8 new characters. Although, Rick and Greg have different surnames than they do in Flying Warriors as you can see in the footage. This game is harder than I thought, and this was my first time ever playing when I filmed this. And the ROM for this prototype has at the moment never been dumped, and this copy is a reproduction that was limited to 150 copies only. And I apologize for not being able to get past that damn weight lifting segment. I pressed the A button as fast as I could, and couldn't make it. And like any game with a segment where you have to press a button that fast, I was worried I was gonna break my controller, just like that part where you have to break through the ground in Sunman (another unreleased NES game). I think I can see why the US release for this installment was cancelled. Just stick with Flying Dragon and Flying Warriors. This isn't worth it. It's a good thing I didn't have to pay that much for this!
Oh and being that it came with no instruction manual, I have no idea how to tag your partner in tag mode either.
