I don't recall seeing this fighter in the arcades back in the day so I thought I'd check it out. It uses the same game engine as Virtua Fighter 2 but features enclosed arenas and an armor mechanic. It became one of the highest grossing arcade games of 1996. It was later ported to the Sega Saturn, PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360.
This is the Model 2 Emulator in action. I upped the res to HD, Bilinear filtering, Auto mip mapping and Anisotropic filtering.
