Fighting Vipers - PS3 Gameplay - Candy/Honey
30Gameplay of the PS3 port of Fighting Vipers. This would be a re-release of the PS2 Sega Ages port (Japan only) but now released digitally for the PSN and Xbox Live. This would be a 1:1 Arcade perfect port of the original game and not a downgraded version like what had to happen in order for it to be ported to the Sega Saturn.
Gameplay here is of Candy/Honey in Arcade Mode and stupidly I had left it on Hard mode from a previous play through.
The problem with Fighting Vipers is that it doesn't exactly play like other 3D fighting games. There's a serious amount of Bulls**t at play here with this one. For starters you would expect some unbalancing issues with characters, however for Fighting Vipers this is on the extreme side.
Characters such as Candy have to get in close to perform throw moves whilst characters like Jane and BM can grab you from several feet away and that 1 move can take off around 33% health. This means if you get grabbed x3 times in a row (which does happen) then your dead.
There's also the randomness on who's counter will hit first and that at times you swear the game is cheating and ignoring the fact your blocking.
Artwork used (Thumbnail) was taken from the Fighting Vipers Fanbook (released in 1996 from what i can tell) that should be alright to use since it was made available to the public. However if the artwork of Honey/Candy used in the thumbnail specifically was YOURS and you would like credit then please contact me and I will add your information into the description.
