Further reinforcing the obvious title, this is video is primarily here to briefly fill the gap and shed some light on a few things: Mainly, the actual fate of the Mega Man Rocks playthrough. Truth be told, I have a good portion of footage actually completed for it. However, the actual recording process and reviewing of the footage has left me a bit...hesitant, shall we say.

Simply put, for a good portion of certain stages in Rocks, my basic strategy boiled down to: "Run past/bump into everything and just get to the boss." For the record, just because this method doesn't look good on camera isn't the reason why I'm holding off on the playthrough for a bit. Rather, it's the mindset I was in during it. This is almost akin to what happened to my Plague Knight playthrough, where I wasn't able to put my heart and investment into my recordings. If I'm trying to get to the end of a playthrough as quick as I possibly can for no other reason than "I just want this to be over with," then something has gone very wrong. Even more-so, it wouldn't be much fun to watch afterwards.

So, where does that leave me now? Well, Rocks is still on the table...to some extent. This is basically just a roundabout way of saying I need to muster up more motivation to actually finish it properly. My enthusiasm has been slowly draining for it over the course of the month, partly due to me being burned out from Mega Man games (even though they're basically my bread and butter), along with a bunch of other stuff I've been looking forward to getting releases in close proximity to each-other. One of these in particular being the Ashes of Ariandel DLC for Dark Souls III. I've been itching to do a playthrough of something different for a while now, and said DLC is looking to be a prime candidate for it (even though Microsoft messed up and briefly released it early for Xbox One season pass holders, I'll still be taking my own swing at it after the proper release date rolls around).

So in short: MM Rocks is still on hold due to lack of motivation, so expect Ashes of Ariandel to be next instead. The playthrough will be done in my usual style (annotations and such), and I'll be aiming to show where all the new content (such as weapons, armor, etc) is located. Doing a no-death run of it might be a bit tricky, given the obvious, but I'm more than willing to take up that challenge.
