Warning: Get ready for some sub-par playing through-out a good portion of this episode. I don't really have an excuse for this beyond what's stated in the annotations. Personally, I've always disliked fortresses that never allow you to save in-between stages or pick up your progress later (convenience over nostalgia, especially since not everyone is going to have enough time to sit down and do the entire fortress all in one go). Beyond that, it's a pretty typical fortress that spams more and more instant death the longer it goes on - aka, the boring type of fortress that only ever uses one or two gimmicks, introduces a new one for a little bit, and then never evolves beyond that. Seriously, was there any reason not to bring back stuff like Shadow Man's raft or the Big Orange Snakeys? There's plenty of potential for both of those with other gimmicks, yet they're nowhere to be seen in the single player mode.

Oh well. What's done is done, I suppose. Time to finally move on to something that's hopefully a bit more interesting.
