1) 02:06 shooting the switch on the outern wall opens the way
incredible map for an uv-fast... surrounded right from start from several mancubus and cacodemons, you have to rely on swift movements and dodging and luck as well. Once all the manc are dead, you get access to plasma rifle and many cells; the enemies on the cliffs can still be very dangerous tho, and the recovery items are present only in the main room, so you've to take care as soon as you leave the "arena"
Differently from the old DSDA record of Krypto in 06:12, I decided to use first SSG and in a second time the RL for the first monsters, to benefit from some infight and save a few rockets more. I had enough health to rush trough the outside area, but this was very risky; the specters can easily kill you doing so- by blocking you. For the end fight I managed to trigger the revenants to wake up, and they were slained from the knights. All those tactics allowed me to break the 5min barrier, but since I was so close to the uv-max record too (skepticist in 04:29), I kept trying till I scored this time.
The level has one of the most exciting music in the whole wad probably btw!

I didnt play doom for almost 10 days now, so map 08 will take a bit longer, since from my first tries it look pretty nasty. Low recovery items and armour, ammo is scarce and easy to get sniped
