Final Doom - The Plutonia Experiment (Doomsday Engine) playthrough Part 1
Since I've finally been able to replace my mouse, I am finally able to do some first person shooters again. Oh how I have longed to get back to these games. And what a better way to start it off.... then with one where I didn't actually need the replacement mouse. Oh well, it's part of a block of games, and some do need the mouse. Yes, welcome to Idspansion Block 2! We'll be taking a look at the second set of expansion packs for Id's earlier FPS games, starting with the second half of Final Doom.
The Plutonia Experiment. This one's meant to be more difficult than even TNT, a challenge to experts of Doom. And so far it is living up. I did turn the difficulty down to "Hurt Me Plenty" instead of Ultraviolent, and I am gonna be using saves. It's my first time going through these levels, and so far I am quite impressed. Good maps, for a great game. Using the Doomsday Engine this time, which is designed to make things look better. And IMHO it does, I especially like the lighting effect on fireballs etc. I do recommend this engine, which handles a host of games, if you want Doom etc. to look their best. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
