It's finally over. I cannot tell you how glad I am to finally be done with this game. I was expecting a small, crappy game, and instead got a large, mediocre game, with hidden bits of clever design buried in the slipshod rough, rushed execution. This is a quintessential example of a early 2000's "it's for kids" game. Where quality wasn't really that important as long as it kept them busy for a while. Really, it's a terrible attitude to have. Saying that you can half-ass a project simply because you think your audience won't know better. They know better, and children should especially be given more credit because those are their formative, learning years. And teaching them that they can be lazy, that something can be "good enough", doesn't seem like it sends them the best message. At least there are quality products for them today. Really, there always have been. A lot of the true classic games were geared toward children. Some of the best games ever made were aimed at the same age group as this game. But, at the end of the day, for all this games many flaws, there certainly are worse titles out there. If you had a child that loves Neopets, they would overlook the flaws, and enjoy this game.
