Final DOOM: The Plutonia Experiment (UV Playthrough) [PC] - MAP09: Abattoire
Brown-texture overload aside, this map has everything going for it. Clean design, no cheap stuff, and fairly conventional fighting all wrapped up in a neat package. It's not great by any stretch of the imagination, but it's got an interesting enough layout without going all labyrinthine. So yes, it's fine...
...right up until the very, VERY brown-coloured end. It's just a completely shit (hur) room to deal with; dodge a plethora of Mancubus and Revenant fireballs while fooling around on a relatively thin walkway, with only the crappiest of side-areas to take cover in.
Take one slip into the predictably-brown slime, and it's a trip to the main menu to reload. Or just start over, whatever you prefer.
Oh, and it's got one of those crappy "one way only" moments. Once you head for the final area through that fake exit teleporter, that's it. So you better grab everything you want beforehand, even if it'd usually be considered wasteful.
