I'm always after them - places to quickly and easily level up. Upon reaching the underground, the third leveling ground is available, which is 2 1/4 times faster than that of the summit of Mount Ordeals (seen in my second leveling ground video, only higher up). Because, after Cecil transforms, it's apparently impossible to solo since you'll always have someone with you, there's a trick to bypass this - just cause everyone except the one you want to level up to be either petrified or KO'd. The only enemy of concern here is BlackLiz. If attacked without being defeated, it'll cause gradual petrification to occur. If you can't defeat it in one hit, save it for last. It's normal attacks just do basic physical damage, provided they can hit in the first place (they miss frequently due to the high evasion I have for Cecil). With Cecil transformed, level him as much as you want. You could do the same for Rosa, Rydia, and Kain (? uncertain on this one). Yang is not "permanent" so leveling him excessively is pointless. As a side note, with the silver sword, silver shield, wizard helmet, silver armor, and strength armlet equipped, have Cecil in the back row - it seems that either the weapon or something in the equipment makes the weapon work equally effectively long range. By having Cecil in the back row, enemies will have a much harder time hitting him and if they do, they practically can't even harm him.
