After acquiring the first tablet then fighting Villa, and the elusive String Ray (while stealing his blue mage spell "Mighty Guard" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDwP6uyAVrY ), we're now able to complete some side-quests and tie up some loose ends.
First, we visit Carwen for a missing item entry (even though it has been stolen, we will need it for 100-percent completion). Secondly, we return to Regole for another Ribbon item. After that, we return to Crescent for another bard spell.
Then, we make way to the Sealed / Kuza Castle to gather three of the twelve legendary weapons. After that, we have to Pirate's Hideout for Syldra summon, and hidden area of Castle Bal via Jachol Cave for the Odin summon. We manage to take Odin down without too much trouble. I hear you can use Catoblepas to insta-kill him, but it was too late by the time I read that.
After that, we head to Phantom Village. We do a lot here, gaining new items, and a black chocobo. There is also a piano here, but we're still missing one, so we head to Regole yet again, to find a hidden passage, and the last piano.
We then find our chocobo friend Boko, by Ghido's cave, and ride him around the world. Then, we return to Phantom Village and talking to the guy who challenged us. This gives us the Mirage Vest.
Finally, we take Boko the chocobo up the waterfall to the northwest. Now we have the magic lamp.
