We get into the Shinra HQ without any problems. There's a new NPC at the stairs that talks about walking them and I spend 13 minutes walking the whole thing and end up with Quadra Magic and Knights of the Round.

A brief overview of the things changed are:
Random party members, items, materia
True turn based battles with x2 enemy speed and enemy HP
Additional linked slots, more materia pairs, counters add effects
Auto sense, damage limit break with 4th limit breaks, limit command rework
