Punisher Mode and counter are your best bet in every Phase of this Boss fight.. In phase 1 pay attention when he uses scintilla, this is where he counters if attacked, wait it out. When he starts casting for spells, cancel with Skills like Braver or Triple Slash. Phase 2 stopping his spell casting, will make him counter with Masamune in Waiting so look out for that. Phase 3 opens up with Elemental Infusion, counter with opposing element, same strategy applies with Punisher mode and counter. Phase 4 just go rambo.
