First part you have to go through a mob of Unknown Entities, try to cluster them and beat them with Tifa's Starshower, save your MP for when the big boss comes out. Equip your Ice materias, or you can equip Lightning + element on to your armor to absorb Lightning attacks when fighting against the Big boss especially when it uses Claim and Fling, Equip your headband for Sleep immunity just in case it gets annoying during the 2nd part of the boss fight.
