Forbidden Land Eureka contains Ninja and Sage jobs as well as plethora of best in-game equipment and there's a secret shop that sells shuriken. Equipment starts appearing at 5:09:36 Full Moon, Masamune, Ninja Job, Sage Job, Ragnarok, Excalibur. Ninjas can equip just about any sword in the game while Sages can use any Magic. Ninjas also throw shuriken.

Stock up on everything before Ancient's Labyrinth and leave all non-essential items behind. If you play this game on real hardware you're only allowed to save while standing outside on the world map. Once you enter Ancient's Labyrinth there's going to be only 1 save spot and only 1 shop to sell unwanted items. Backtracking could take up to an hour.

You have to walk through Sylx Tower, defeat Zande, go to Dark World, obtain 4 ribbons and defeat Dark Cloud all in one go. That's 2 hours of progress lost if you mess this up.

Best Dark Cloud strategy would be 3 Sages casting Cure 4 on the entire party while 1 Ninja doing damage with shurikens. That way you always restore all damage dealt by Flare Wave. 2 Sages / 2 Ninjas is a bit more risky but normally you'd be level 55-60 which is good enough for this strategy to work.

Final Fantasy III was never realeased outside of Japan in its original form. This walkthrough uses fan made English translation patch made before official Nintendo DS remake. There's some naming difference between different versions of the game so I'm gonna stick with names as they appear in this video.

All micromanagement left intact as is. Most of random NPC dialogue was skipped unless its important to the story or if they say something funny. This playthrough doesn't use any luck manipulation or tool assists so there might be some occasional inefficiencies during exploration and battles.

This walkthrough had to be split in 2 parts due to 12 hour video limit set by YouTube. Full walkthrough takes about 18 hours.
