Well, with Metroid done, it's time to change gears completely and go back to an RPG! And not just any old RPG, but Final Fantasy IV! And on the DS!

In case you're not familiar with it, this is a complete remake of the 1991 SNES RPG. It's seen plenty of ports over the years, from Playstation to GBA to PSP to Steam, but those are all fundamentally the same game. Sure, the sprites got a fresh coat of paint, and the translation got refined, but the core is the same.

This, on the other hand, was built from scratch. Not only did they swap out those sprites for 3D models, they changed some abilities and added new mechanics to character progression that are, well, really good in my opinion!
