Because, you see, this is the first Metroid game released on a handheld, which is a mobile gaming platform,

Anyway, the Galactic Federation has had it up to here with these metroids, so Samus has a new mission: go to their home planet of SR388, and wipe them all out!

This is my very first time playing the game, so I'm excited! I initially wanted to play the whole thing blind, but it turns out it's less fun when you're bumbling around in circles, so I got a map after about an hour.
