This is video #069 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy IV for the PC. This is episode 29 of the second playthrough. I am playing on Hard mode.

Previously, the party began leveling on Red Dragons in the Lunar Subterrane in preparation for the superbosses. Cecil has reached Level 71. The party will now continue leveling. In this video, they will also get another Red Tail, so they will get another Onion Sword.

Lunar Subterrane:

The party resumes in the save room on floor B7 of the Lunar Subterrane. They go down to floor B8 and continue using Sirens to call Red Dragons.

In the first battle, Rosa reaches Level 72. Also, Rydia reaches Level 72.

Kain reaches Level 72. Cecil reaches Level 73.

Rydia reaches Level 73. Edge reaches Level 72.

Rosa reaches Level 73.

Kain reaches Level 73. Cecil reaches Level 74.

Edge reaches Level 73.

The party scores a Red Tail (time 39:05). Yes! This is the first one for this playthrough, but the second one overall.

Also, Rosa reaches Level 74. Rydia reaches Level 74.

Kain reaches Level 74.

Cecil reaches Level 75. Edge reaches Level 74.

The party Teleports out of the Lunar Subterrane.

Lunar Surface (time 53:15):

The party backtracks through the Lunar Tunnel - East and the Lunar Tunnel - West. When they board the Lunar Whale, they take off for the Blue Planet.

Blue Planet Overworld (time 54:26):

The party flies to Mythril and takes the Hovercraft to the Adamant Isle Grotto.

Adamant Isle Grotto (time 55:19):

In the Adamant Isle Grotto, the party delivers the Red Tail to the mustached gnome. In return, he gives them another Onion Sword. Yay! Cecil equips the new Onion Sword.

Overworld (time 56:53):

The party boards the Lunar Whale again. After resting, they take off for the Moon.

Lunar Surface (time 57:31):

The party heads to the Hummingway Abode in the south.

Hummingway Abode (time 58:05):

The party stocks up on more Sirens. They also sell off Dragon Gloves that the Red Dragons dropped for a tidy profit.

Lunar Surface (time 58:30):

The party takes the Lunar Whale to the Lunar Tunnel - West. They pass through this tunnel and the Lunar Tunnel - East.

They save outside the entrance to the Crystal Palace. Next time, they will go back to floor B8 of the Lunar Subterrane and continue training against Red Dragons.
