Here comes the plot train -- choo choo!

Anyway, a lot of what you see in this part depends on your party makeup. Speaking of party makeup, here's why I chose these party members:

Ceodore: He has great stats and versatility. He doesn't hit quite as hard as his dad, but he has more white mage buffs than his dad does, so he's great for throwing out hastes and blinks. Plus Vibra Plus is incredible.

Cecil: He's useless for the first half of the final chapter, but after a plot event he hits harder than anyone else -- and he was several levels below the rest of my party! The only downside is his white mage spells got a bit gimped since FFIV, but if you stick an ultima weapon on him, he causes MASSIVE DAMAGE.

Porom: Easily the best 'pure' white mage of the game. She can't use bows as well as Rosa, nor does she have the versitility of Leonora. She's got the best spirit though, so white mage spells heal for a lot more. Plus, she can learn Duelcast while Rosa can't. She becomes incredible once she learns it. The only downside is with this party make-up is she only learns one band (with her brother).

Palom: Speaking of Porom's brother, he's kind of my wild card. I originally put him in my party just for the challenge, but he's actually pretty good if you level him up properly. He's the best pure-damage black mage, and he learns spells quicker than anyone else. Plus he's FAST. When he wasn't casting spells, he was throwing out phoenix downs and x-potions. While Rydia and Golbez are probably better choices, Palom holds his own.

Kain: He's utterly broken. Hits hard, jump is still useful (though you don't stay in the air as long), PLUS he has great bands. Did I mention he gets white magic too? Awesome.
