In this episode we explore the town of Gaia, speaking with the townspeople and checking out what's for sale in the various shops. We then head over to the Cardia Islands, where the King of Dragons, Bahamut, lives. He challenges us to prove our courage, so we set out for the Castle of Ordeal to do exactly that. Landing our Airship a good distance away, we battle some dangerous encounters on our way to the castle. Once inside, we find some exciting, spellcasting equipment, and navigate a maze of teleporting pillars until we find ourselves in front of the final chest on the third floor. The prize inside is nothing more than a rat's tail, but as we try to leave we are ambushed by a pair of Zombie Dragons. Using our powerful, undead killing magic, we make short work of the dragons, and head back to the island chain. We approach Bahamut, and offer him the Tail as proof of our courage. He accepts, and promotes the entire party to enhanced classes with newfound power and exciting abilities.
