Previously, the party defeated Exdeath in Castle Exdeath, but the crystals of Galuf's world still shattered. The party apparently returned to the original world, but there is a lot more to it than there used to be. The party returned to Castle Tycoon. While Lenna and Faris stayed behind, Bartz and Krile set out. At the Cave leading to the Pirates' Hideout, they rejoined Boko, who will help them get around again. Northwest of Castle Tycoon, they passed Tule and found the Antlion's Nest. After they defeated the Antlion, Faris helped them leave the nest and rejoined them. Past the Antlion Nest, they found Ghido's Cave. There, they learned from Ghido that Exdeath destroyed the crystals to make the two worlds merge to their original state. The world was originally split to seal the power of the Void. Unfortunately, Exdeath revealed himself. He used the power of the Void to consume Castle Tycoon. Afterwards, Ghido and the party found themselves at the Library of the Ancients, which is now south of Surgate Castle. The two parts of the Sealed Tome combined into a legible whole. The party must now gather four tablets and obtain the twelve Legendary Weapons sealed in Castle Kuza, as well as some powerful spells and summons. The first stop will be the Pyramid to the west. For now, the party will check a few locations in the area.

Merged World - World Map:

The party resumes outside the Library of the Ancients. They reenter the library.

Library of the Ancients (time 0:29):

The party chats with the NPCs in the library. There are now scholars from the library and from Surgate Castle.

On the Roof, the party talks to the eastern scholar. They learn the Bard song Mana's Paean, which increases the party's magic power while it is being performed. Note that this song is missable if the party does not learn it before completing the Pyramid.

Afterwards, the party leaves the library.

World Map (time 5:54):

The party heads north from the library and enters Surgate Castle.

Surgate Castle (time 6:05):

The party chats with NPCs in the castle. Most of the library's scholars have gone to the Library of the Ancients, but we knew that.

In the eastern supply room on floor 1F of the library, a crate in the north contains a Cottage, as long as the party did not free the Lone Wolf in Castle Walse. This does not appear to count towards the treasure total.

After they have finished in the castle, the party leaves with Teleport.

World Map (time 9:03):

The party grinds around the Library of the Ancients to encounter new monsters. The available monster types are Sleepy, Triffid, Hedgehog, Python, Shadow, and Elm Gigas. The party already encountered a few of them on the southeastern island forest in Galuf's world.

Faris reaches Level 37.

Afterwards, the party reenters the library.

Library of the Ancients (time 12:43):

The party uses the healing pot on 2F. Then, they leave.

World Map (time 13:03):

The party heads west through the mountain pass towards the Desert of Shifting Sands. Along the way, they find the sole remnant of Moore Forest, the Guardian Tree.

Guardian Tree (time 13:12):

As the party approaches the Guardian Tree itself, a scene takes place.

Afterwards, the party exits west.

World Map (time 14:17):

The party continues west from the Guardian Tree and enters the desert.

Desert of Shifting Sands (time 15:13):

When the party enters the desert, a scene takes place. The sand is now safe to cross, but that is a symptom of the earth's weakening.

World Map (time 15:42):

The party can now cross the desert on the world map. The Pyramid is directly to the west.

For now, the party heads northwest and leaves the desert in the Moore area. The enemy types in the Moore area are Slug, Gloom Widow, and Mykale.

The party enters the village of Moore.
