Previously, the party wrapped up some more job grinding at the Castle of Bal. Now, they will infiltrate the final dungeon, the Interdimensional Rift, and begin the journey to Exdeath.

Merged World - World Map:

The party resumes outside the Castle of Bal. Bartz changes his job to Freelancer and equips !Mug and "!Spellblade Lv. 6". Lenna changes her job to Mime and equips "!White Magic Lv. 6", "!Summon Lv. 5", and !Mix. Faris changes her job to Freelancer and equips !Mug and "!Blue Magic". Krile changes her job to Mime and equips "!Time Magic Lv. 6", "!Black Magic Lv. 6", and !Mix. The party equips themselves.

Afterwards, the party enters the castle.

Castle of Bal (time 2:28):

At the inn, the party rests and stocks up on consumables. Then, they leave the castle again.

World Map (time 3:36):

The party boards the airship. They fly to the site of Castle Tycoon. As they approach the black portal, a scene takes place.

Interdimensional Rift (time 4:22):

The party gains control at the airship dock in the Interdimensional Rift. They can examine the airship wheel to leave the Rift if they wish. The Interdimensional Rift consists of several different portions. This dungeon is pretty epic, but it is also linear. There are 22 treasure chests overall in this area.

The party exits to the Interdimensional Rift - Desert. All the enemies here are from earlier areas, notably Gloceana Desert. There are no treasures in this zone. There are moving sands in this area, as there used to be in the Desert of Shifting Sands. Starting in the west, the party makes their way east through the area.

As the party approaches the eastern door, a scene takes place. Some not-very-pleasant hosts greet them.

When the party goes through the door, they reach the Interdimensional Rift - Ruins. The new enemies in the area include: Grenade, Baldanders, Death Dealer, and Level Checker. Look out for Roulette from the Death Dealer.

The party starts in a small room. Directly ahead, they examine the chain to go downstairs. They go south to a set of rooms. In the southwest of the northern room, they open a chest for an Ether. The southeastern chest in this room contains a Cottage.

In the southern room, the western chest contains an Elixir. The western chest contains a Dark Matter.

The party takes the southern door downstairs. They take two moving chains to the southern platform. Then, to the east, they find three chains. They go up the easternmost chain. A chest on the northeastern platform contains an Elixir.

Then, the party rides the western chain of the trio. This takes them to a door.

The party goes north to the next area. To the east, they go up the second stairway they find. In the northwest of this area, they find a chest with a Blood Sword. They now have 6/22 treasures total from the Rift.

Then, the party goes back to the stairway they bypassed earlier. They go up a couple of flights and then take the northern door.

The party arrives in a small room. They ride the chain upstairs. In the next room, they go south.

The party arrives in floor B1 of the Phantom Village. However, now that they are in the Rift, the village's NPCs are all frozen in time. Fortunately, there are no enemies in the area. As the party goes upstairs, they use the healing pot. They exit through the town's main entrance.

The party arrives in the Interdimensional Rift - Forest. The new enemies in this area are as follows: White Flame, Moss Fungus, and Farfarello. The White Flames absorb Holy-elemental damage. Look out for confusion from the Moss Fungi. There are four treasure chests here.

The party goes east past a tree and then turns north. The path leads to a second tree.

Bartz reaches Level 44.

From the second tree, they go northeast and find a chest containing a Dragon Fang.

Krile reaches Level 44.

The path leading northwest from the second tree leads north and then east to the middle of the area. A chest at the base of one tree contains a Ribbon. That's our fourth Ribbon! Too bad Mimes can't equip them without "Equip Ribbons".

Faris reaches Level 44.

South of the Ribbon chest, a chest at the southern end of the area contains an Enhancer sword. At the base of a tree to the northeast, another chest contains a Lilith Rod. The party now has 10/22 treasures total from the Rift.
