Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster Part 20 - Floating Continent
21This place actually took me a few tries to get going. First went under prepared, then forgot to set up my all attack magic right... Well, got there in an end. It's still a long area though, but what do you expect when the world ends up ending!
Worth noting in this part:
-All-Attack Auto Battle Magic method is great for the part on the airship. Having someone with Cura is highly recommended.
-Beat down Ultros with Fire, then Typhon with not-Fire.
-Grab Shadow and actually equip him up here so he can help. Hopefully you have some Shurikens.
-Putting Shadow Invis (or casting Vanish) helps a lot for the Monster-in-a-Box fight.
-Ninja's still hurt.
-Ultima Weapon is very painful. Put status protection on that you can, and be prepared with Remedy/Esuna after. Then just try to stay alive as you beat him down.
-The timer still pauses during dialogue/menuing at the end.
-Make sure you don't take the straight forward path for that Elixir chest, otherwise you miss it. Go around!
-Wait for Shadow if you want to be able to recruit him later.
