thank u, Triangle Strategy for putting me again in a retro mood

this game and Super Metroid were mindblowing AAA gaming back in 1994. I lost weeks in each... you know those 2D backdrops looking way less impressive than any phone drivelware today? I was there back then appreciating each and every scene, they looked crazy realistic...

story is so good, tho goes at crazy pace unlike today. characters stumbling into each other and already feeling intimate. way smaller than today, yet the adventure felt larger than life. Cyan was a favorite, as well as shadow and his dog, maybe from Shadow Dancer? lol

crazy awesome way to experience this, on giant virtual simulated CRT display. but I would vastly prefer a proper VR diorama like Triangle Strategy. I'd love to go thru FFTactics too, but damn retroarch bios management is bizarre.
