On the cargo ship heading to Costa del Sol. Still dressed up as a Shrina soldier, finding my team incognito and dressed as soldiers on the cargo ship as well. When I come into contact with Sephiroth.

It appears Sephiroth has been carrying the arm of Jenova. Honestly, I don't know what is going on here. I don't know why carrying the arm of his mother is such a big deal and why it turned him into some sort of spiritual psychopath. I understand why he is a psychopath, I don't understand why carrying Jenova's arm has this effect on him.

Anyway, I had to fight Jenova. This fight I think is in the remake. So that must mean, at least everything up to now is in the remake? Right? I would imagine that everything up to the Golden Saucer should be in the remake. This is about 10--12 hours of Final Fantasy VII game and somehow 40 hours of Remake gameplay.

So, the Jenova fight. Things were looking a little dicey there. I didn't think I was going to be able to defeat her, but somehow I was able to squeeze in a victory. I felt a little unprepared because I didn't think I had the right magic or, at least, strong enough magic. Thankfully, just as I thought I was finished she vanished. Lucky.
