Heading up Mount Corel, across some train tracks and into North Corel, a small mining town with Barret history. Along the way I did a little grinding because the XP was generous. Then I came to the long bridge that featured Bomb, an enemy that will explode after hitting it a few times. This will do an ungodly amount of damage and is an enemy I know well from my time withe Final Fantasy X. In fact, this enemy almost made me rage quit Final Fantasy X.

Rather than fight Bombs, I just run. If I don't have to engage them, I won't. There was another enemy that was causing me some issues and that was Search Crown. They look like mushrooms with 4 mouths stacked on top of one another. I also ran from those.

I made it to Golden Saucer. After finding I had to pay 5GP to save I turned around and went back to North Corel to save on the map screen. I was coming up on my hour of playtime and I didn't want to start a new section of the game. I don't have a set amount of time I allow myself to play, it's just difficult for me to remain engaged with most games. RPGs, because of all the reading, make my eyes tired quicker than games that are just action and shooting.

I am at the point where I don't think I am every going to get through this game. Looking at different walkthroughs, it seems as though I have quite a ways to go before I hit, what would be, Disc 2. I originally thought the Golden Saucer was the start of the second disc. Not so, from the looks of things I just a little over half way there. I mean, that seems right. From what I understand, Disc 1 contains the largest chunk of the game. Thankfully I am still enjoying it.
