It begins to get real with Shane, I ruin a Luau and, I do a lot of mining.

I spend the vast majority of this play session trying to rais my friendship with Emily and Clint so I can trigger another Shane event. This requires me to go mining for amethyst which, as it turns out, is kinda rare. So I am going further and further into the mine in the hopes there will be some deposits. Both Emily and Clint love Amethyst. I can easily give them what they like, but I feel that may take too long. However, things aren't looking too good with my quest for Amethyst.

I die in the caves once and it really sucks. I lost 400G and a couple of unimportant items. I don't mind losing the items, but that 400G is a beer for Shane or a cup of coffee for Harvey.

I can't say yet that the game is fun, but I still want to play it. I think I am going to try and focus on mining and earn somewhat of a living doing that and put farming on the back-burner.
