The game currently does not officially support Ultrawide 21:9
or Super Ultrawide 32:9 resolution.
Luckily the Final Fantasy community have developed a way to make it work.
There are currently 3 versions available depending on your screen resolution, I myself am using v2 or v3 as both worked best for my set up and monitor.

I have linked the method I used below, it was pretty much drag and drop some files into the games directory. Make sure to read through the description to fully understand how to make this work.
