Aight imma head out. I knew guardian force summons were power crept, but getting triple (I held back with double) from cerberus and slam meltdown to 0 Edea's vitality (and 0 spirit given the 2nd meltdown did quadruple damage) to essentially 3 shot her is just sad. The junctioning of better spells like meltdown to vitality or even haste to speed just makes this even more of a cakewalk.
Of course plot shenanigans happen. I am glad the remaster fixes a ton in this flawed game (encounter toggles, automated gunblade/renzokuken timing options, battle enhancements for infinite turns to draw, mug, or waste time carding enemies), and triple speed helps a ton for those early game summons and getting through walking only or big areas.
Note that diablos' darkside is spelled differently from DC's Darkseid.
I think this strategy (I also read about aura as I got aura stones) also power creeps Selphie's multi spell slot and Quistis' blue magic limit breaks.
