The black bars messed with the aspect ratio even without a shorts format.
Still, I did wanna upload some gameplay footage. I can't believe front line is playable with right analog controls (triggers shoot and the grenades one gets in/exit tanks), as it was terrible on NES.
The taito milestones memorial box has some English, as dead connection is in Japanese but has English voice acting (chandelier was crazy). Liquid kids cutscenes are in Japanese (similar to wolffang/skullfang).
Still, it's better than egg console given not too much text to go through Google lens or an English playthrough.
There are full English versions but it isn't the same as my post:
It does feel like an evolution going through the first one with primitive games (original qix is hellish difficulty, with no pretty backgrounds/girls) and later ones being better.
