I am speechless considering how he knocks you out without a fight beforehand (plot powers). No idea how Master Chang is a hold my beer (defending when weakened is inexcusable, let alone his low damage when I let him attack with 2 HP) to the jokes of ff8 (with junctioning proper magic) or Grandia 2 hard mode (15% more hp, and a breeze outside a couple random difficulty spikes).
Iβll never play this game again (the menus are trash too, having to shop at 3 different things with a separate merchant chat to sell, treasure chest loading and storage). I believe magic is broken too. At least Grandia 2 improves (the original had a bad ps2 port though g1 on ps1/ps3 had bad load times before ps5 improved) despite animation goofs, but sadly that series peaked there.
Kirby may be easy at times, but at least new powers and multiplayer help increase the fun. Even FFT has replay value, and its AI does not have bosses defend (regular ch 4 stupid normal enemies do that and 30 hp potions). And at least tactics ogre reborn enemy leaders rush you (to get owned) as opposed to idle.
The stories can be fun outside of Grandia 3 (which I heard had a difficulty spike) and xtreme has bad acting with bad saving by todayβs standards (no way Iβm doing that 100 floor postgame dungeon saving to backtrack 5 floors (you choose to progress or withdraw, which lets you start at the last progression).
