Final Fantasy X-2 - Part 23 - Zalamander (End of Chapter 4)
0Zalamander isn't terribly difficult, assuming you haven't neglected your characters. The best offense is a good defense and the quicker you're able to take him down, the better. For this battle, I would recommend Shining Bracer and Haste Bangles to make quick work of this boss. The one downside is that he is magic immune, so 777 Magic Reels won't help in Ultima-ing your way through this boss like several others. Anyways...
For those wondering why I ended up doing a soft reset after the boss fight, it's because I ended up missing certain dialogue scenes on the bridge. For this entire section until Chapter 5, I would highly recommend Split Infinity's guide to help you through this portion of the game, as there are a lot of conversations to go through and certain scenes can only be triggered in a certain order. And unfortunately, several of them are missable without an extra save file.
Thankfully I was able to catch it before I got too far into it.
