11Luckily the game gives us random encounters on the airship. I was able to fill up Rikku's overdrive this way. Sunburst wont be enough this time. We need something more. Thankfully with the Underdgo's Secret, we can mix it with various items to get Quartet 9999. We lucked out here in that the game gave us some of these items in treasure chests. Both Bomb Cores and Lightning Marbles can be used for this and I have 10 of them put together.
After this fight we're forced to fight 5 rounds of Enemies. I decided to make a weapon with First Strike for Kimahri since he has progressed the least on the sphere grid I wanted him to get all of the EXP. It's kind of sad but Dark Matter is the best option here. Feels kind of cheap, but we're going for fewest turns taken. I was actually 1 Dark Matter Short after Evrae, so I had to go back a bit to get another one.
Without Blitzball, I probably would have spent more time leveling Auron so that his Overdrive would kill. And maybe got a few petrify grenades,.
