Might be it's own series of videos one day, but I just wanted to take a video of a really cool debugger easter egg that can be found in a prototype version of Final Fantasy X. The debugging features are similar to the one you can find in FFX-2, but I personally like FFX better.

This is a pretty lengthy cutscene created by a developer. You can definitely see that the tools they used to create such cutscenes must've been easy to use. I really don't know how to even explain the plot of this cutscene, as it's just flat out weird. My favorite part is with the sped up version of "Otherworld" with funny sounding vocals.

Like any Squaresoft game, going through the debugger aspects of the game is like an adventure to a lot of people. There's so much more to this build of the game, so I'll definitely produce more of this game later.

OH yeah, and I actually used a better codec for this video. Hope you like it. :\

Like a lot of the videos I post, this one was run off of PCSX2 - a really good Playstation 2 emulator. Here's the specs of the machine:

OS: Windows 2003 SP2 (Build #3790) CPU: Intel Core2 E8400,  4.28 GHz, 6144 KB Video: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ (1440x900x32bpp 75Hz) Sound: SB Live! 24-bit Memory: Used: 1492/4095MB

I'm actually using Windows XP Pro SP2 x64, but who gives a shit. The framerate does jump around a few times, but of course, this is FRAPS' fault. But at least the video quality is ten times better than the other codecs I've been using in the past 4/5 years. :\

But anyway, enjoy the video! You'll have to look very hard to find this prototype on the internet, but it's out there. No, I won't help you find it. But look around on an "EMUlation PARADISE" forum. ;)

Enjoy!
