Previously, Heorot continued training against Goblins and Robber Crabs on Cape Teriggan. He has reached Level 69 as Red Mage. Now, he will take care of the next level limit quest, "Shattering Stars", which raises the level limit to 75. The "Rhapsody in Umber" key item from the "Rhapsodies of Vana'diel" storyline makes this quest sooo much easier because it will allow him to summon Trust NPCs for the showdown with Maat.

Heorot resumes at his Mog House in Bastok. He heads out to Bastok Mines. The game gives him a gift, an Echad Ring. Nice! Thanks, game!

Bastok Mines (time 0:46):

Heorot teleports to Ru'Lude Gardens, Jeuno.

Ru'Lude Gardens (time 1:05):

Heorot talks to Maat at H-5. Since Heorot is a Red Mage, Maat tells him to bring him a Red Mage's Testimony. The testimony that he wants is based on your current job, which must be at Level 66 or greater.

The easiest place to find a Red Mage's Testimony is probably the Temple of Uggalepih in Yhoator Jungle. Naturally, Heorot will need to buy a map before going there.

So, he teleports to Lower Jeuno.

Lower Jeuno (time 4:49):

At the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Heorot talks to Promurouve at H-7. He picks up the Map of Temple of Uggalepih. Irritatingly, the Map of the Den of Rancor is a separate purchase, but Heorot will not need to go there for this quest.

Checking the auction house, Heorot sees that a lot of his crystals have sold.

Heorot teleports to Bastok Mines.

Bastok Mines (time 6:56):

Heorot heads home to the Residential Area.

Mog House (time 7:47):

Heorot checks his delivery box for proceeds from his crystal sales on the auction house. He also gets back a couple of Dark Clusters that did not sell.

Then, he heads back out.

Bastok Mines (time 8:35):

Heorot goes to the auction house and relists the Dark Clusters that did not sell. He also visits Crying Wind, I.M., to get his Signet renewed.

Then, he uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Yhoator Jungle, Elshimo Uplands.

Yhoator Jungle (time 10:42):

There are several entrances to the Temple of Uggalepih in Yhoator Jungle. Kind of like the Skull Woods dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. The entrance leading to the enemies that drop Red Mage's Testimonies is east of the Outpost. However, the stairway to that entrance is broken, so Heorot must first go south to the main entrance to the temple.

The main entrance to the Temple of Uggalepih is at J-12 in the southeastern clearing.

Temple of Uggalepih (time 13:59):

The first section of the Temple of Uggalepih is not bad at Level 69. The Tonberries and Toramas are quite manageable. This is good because there is a Granite Door that must be opened. Heorot starts at the entrance at I-6/I-7.

At the intersection at J-7, he finds a Granite Door in the north. This leads to an unmapped corridor with a couple of side rooms.

At K-3/J-3, Heorot finds an exit to Yhoator Jungle.

Yhoator Jungle (time 26:59):

Heorot arrives at J-9 on the platform in the east of the Outpost clearing. He is on the right track. However, I want to activate the Survival Guide in the first section of the temple.

So, Heorot turns around and reenters the Temple of Uggalepih at J-9.

Temple of Uggalepih (time 27:17):

Heorot starts at K-3/J-3 in the unmapped northeastern corridor in the first section of the temple.

At F-6 in the northwest, Heorot finds the Temple of Uggalepih's Survival Guide. He activates it, so now he can come back whenever he needs to. There is also another exit nearby; it leads to the south-central part of the jungle. For now, Heorot does not take it.

Heorot doubles back and takes the exit at K-3/J-3 to Yhoator Jungle.

Yhoator Jungle (time 35:30):

Heorot arrives at J-9 on the platform in the east of the Outpost clearing.

In the northern part of J-9, Heorot takes another entrance to the temple.

Temple of Uggalepih (time 36:30):

Heorot arrives at F-7/G-7 in another section of the temple. FFXIclopedia labels it the third section.

Before he goes too far, Heorot encounters Hover Tanks, the enemies here that drop the Red Mage's Testimony. They are generally lower-level than other enemies with this item, such as the Ruby Quadav in Qulun Dome. With the Super Kupower "Treasure Hound" in effect, Heorot gets his Red Mage's Testimony after only a couple of Hover Tanks.

When he is done, Heorot heads back out at F-7/G-7 to Yhoator Jungle.
