Final Fantasy XI #086, Bastok Mission 6-1: Return of the Talekeeper; To Red Mage Level 75

Previously, Heorot continued hunting Velociraptors and Sand Cockatrices on Cape Teriggan, Vollbow. He reached Level 74 as Red Mage. Now, he will work on Bastok Mission 6-1.
Heorot resumes at his Mog House in Bastok. He heads out to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 0:39):
Heorot trades some crystals to Crying Wind, I.M., at H-10 to earn some rank points. Then, he talks to Rashid and undertakes Bastok Mission 6-1: "Return of the Talekeeper". The first objective is to talk to Medicine Eagle near the western end of Ore Street.
At H-6, Heorot talks to Medicine Eagle. A flashback cutscene introduces the supposed new Talekeeper, Povall. Hm, something seems fishy here. Next, Heorot must talk to Drake Fang in the Zeruhn Mines about a party being sent to investigate the Altepa Desert.
At D-7, Heorot enters the Zeruhn Mines.
Zeruhn Mines (time 8:04):
Heorot talks to Drake Fang at H-6 by the one-way raft exit from Palborough Mines. A cutscene takes place. When Mythril Musketeer Iron Eater arrives, Heorot is instrected to go to the Revelation Rock in the Altepa Desert and try to find an Altepa Moonpebble. If he finds one, he should take it to Tall Mountain in Bastok Mines.
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-7 to teleport to Western Altepa Desert, Kuzotz.
Western Altepa Desert (time 11:16):
In the Western Altepa Desert, Heorot fights a battle so that Kupipi will buff the party.
Heorot heads west to the area of Revelation Rock. Just to the southwest of Revelation Rock, Heorot finds a ??? spot between two large rocks at G-8. Examining this spot spawns a pair of NPCs, Eastern Sphinkx and Western Sphinx. They are a rough pair of notorious monsters, so come prepared or high-level. Supposedly, you only have to fight one.
After the battle, Heorot examines the ??? spot at G-8 again. He acquires the Altepa Moonpebble, a temporary key item.
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at K-7 to teleport to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 27:07):
On the lower level of Ore Street, Heorot talks to Tall Mountain at J-7 near Home Point #3. A cutscene takes place. The scheme is up, Babbot! Bastok Mission 6-1 complete!
Afterwards, Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Cape Teriggan.
Cape Teriggan (time 34:55):
On Cape Teriggan, Heorot continues the Page 4 individual training against Velociraptors and Sand Cockatrices.
Heorot reaches Level 75 as Red Mage. This is his current level limit.
When he is done, Heorot uses the Survival Guide at the Outpost at G-8 to teleport to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 55:53):
It looks like the decor for the holiday event is up at the auction house. Lovely.
Heorot visits Neigepance at the Chocobo Stables to sell off some more loot. Then, he heads to the Residential Area.
Mog House (time 58:02):
At home, Heorot signs off. Next time, he will acquire the Limit Breaker key item, which allows a character at Level 75 or higher to earn merit points.
