• In-game, "The Archadian Empire" is split between 2 tracks. One for the battles against generic imperial judges and Vayne, and one for roaming around the imperial city. The version featured here for the "original sound version" is the boss version.
• In FFXII: The Zodiac Age, the player is given the option to choose between 3 music selections: the original music in the PS2 game, the soundtrack arrangements and the Zodiac Age reorchestrations. The new themes introduced in TZA will also sometimes change to tracks from the old version of the game, e.g. "The Guardians" and "Fury of the Entities" will switch to "Boss Battle".
• According to composer notes made by Hitoshi Sakimoto, the theme for the Phon Coast was actually composed as a final boss theme. However, his other composers felt it was missing the Archadian Empire leitmotif, and so Sakimoto composed "Struggle for Freedom".
