This is the first instance for characters doing the Limsa Arc. Brings back fond memories for me. I started playing this game exactly one year ago.
This instance itself isn't so bad. It's the first after all. I don't think you need any help on this one but yes all enemies do need to be defeated it's not just the boss so take out the little ones as they enter the fray for greater ease.
Lol although one year ago you weren't spammed by gil sellers just trying to watch cutscenes! Seriously, they were relentless here. I really wish Square would put gil sellers out of business and force them to get real jobs like the rest of us.
